Description

Aged to Vintage Top and Bracing

Using a special process called ATV (Aged To Vintage), we treat the solid Sitka spruce top and bracing to achieve the big, open tone of a decades-old, highly sought-after acoustic guitar. This torrefaction process delivers that amazing tone right out of the box, making the guitar more stable and resonant over time.

“Just-Right” Grand Auditorium Body

With a body depth of 4 5/8″ (117mm), an upper bout width of 11 1/2″ (292mm), and a lower bout width of 16″ (405mm), the Grand Auditorium body size sits perfectly between the larger Dreadnought and the smaller Grand Concert. This makes the Auditorium body type ideal for both strumming/flatpicking and fingerstyle playing, suiting the versatile acoustic player who prefers one guitar to cover a variety of sounds and playing styles.

The Perfect Wood Combination

Spruce offers an ideal balance of strength and flexibility, making it the most popular choice for acoustic guitar tops. Bright yet natural, with a strong and warm midrange, the beloved mahogany wood has been a standard for the back and sides of premium acoustics for many decades.

Rosewood Fretboard and Bridge

A rosewood fretboard and bridge create a harmonious blend, delivering rich character. The dense, oily properties of rosewood contribute to a warm, balanced sound with exceptional sustain. The fretboard enhances playability with its smooth surface, while the bridge efficiently transfers string vibrations to the guitar’s body, amplifying the instrument’s overall resonance.

Genuine Bone Nut & Saddle

Crafted out of water buffalo bone for the most natural and transparent transfer of string vibrational energy into the body and neck.

Fishman® Presys VT

Installed internally without removing any wood, the Presys VT EQ system preserves the guitar’s natural resonance and pure acoustic sound, unlike other systems. The controls are also simple to use, featuring only Volume and Tone.

Herringbone Rosette and Purfling

Herringbone rosette and purfling are exquisite decorative elements that enhance a guitar’s aesthetic appeal. Often associated with vintage instruments, these intricate details add to the overall charm and character of the guitar.

Vintage Open Gear Tuner

With an 18:1 gear ratio, these open-gear tuning machines not only enhance the instrument’s vintage charm but also provide precise tuning adjustments and a classic look.
